• YouTube Data: When you connect your YouTube account, we access your channel information, video metadata, and the ability to upload Shorts on your behalf.
• Twitch Data: When you connect your Twitch account, we access your stream information, VOD metadata, and clip data to create content.
• Usage Data: Information about how you use VODForge, including clips created, uploads performed, and settings configured.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide and improve VODForge's services:

• To monitor your Twitch streams and VODs for clip-worthy moments
• To automatically create clips from your content
• To upload YouTube Shorts to your connected YouTube channel
• To manage your account and preferences
• To communicate with you about the service
• To improve our features and fix bugs

We do NOT sell your data. We do NOT share your data with advertisers. We only use your information to provide the service you signed up for.

Third-Party Services

VODForge integrates with third-party platforms to function:

• YouTube: We use the YouTube API to upload content on your behalf. Your use of YouTube through VODForge is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
• Twitch: We use the Twitch API to access your streams and VODs. Your use of Twitch through VODForge is subject to Twitch's terms and privacy policy.
• Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication and database services.
• Stripe: We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not store your credit card information.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission and storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights and Controls

You have full control over your data:

• Access: You can view the data we've collected about you at any time through your dashboard.
• Revoke Access: You can disconnect your YouTube or Twitch accounts at any time from your account settings.
• Delete Your Account: You can delete your VODForge account, which will remove your data from our systems.
• Revoke YouTube Access: You can revoke VODForge's access to your YouTube account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Children's Privacy

VODForge is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of VODForge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
